Summary of the charity event of November 22, 2025

Another charity event was held last Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Royal Wellington THC. It was another great success. The evening was lively and festive, thanks first and foremost to the warm welcome from our hosts at the club management, the generously stocked buffet prepared by Pauline, Nella, Pham, and Freddy, the clear voice of singer and guitarist Augusto, and finally, the energetic musical quiz and entertainment provided by our friend Benoît. The tombola was also a success; the guests were delighted to leave with original African-inspired sewing accessories (bags, belts, towels, etc.) made by our seamstress, Fatima. We would like to thank all these wonderful people once again, as well as the other unsung heroes who made this evening such a success. The 2025 fundraising campaign enabled us to mobilize the necessary financial resources to guarantee the payment of school and medical expenses for the children we support in 2026, as well as to develop self-sufficiency projects, such as the community chicken coop in the Kinkole district (northeast of Kinshasa), which was presented during the evening, and other upcoming projects like the veterinary pharmacy we are currently working on.

Thanks to all your generous contributions, we are proud to confirm to our CED-Kinshasa team that we will be able to support six new beneficiaries within the association: Rachidi (13 years old), Promédie (12 years old), Nicole (10 years old), Déogloire (11 years old), Grâce (9 years old), and Constantine (5 years old).
A new spark of hope has appeared for these children, thanks to you.
